The Archos 605 WiFi is the dream machine of the MP3 industry, but when you look closer it seems to have some problems. Mainly, the Archos 605 is far more expensive than anything else we reviewed. In order to get all the best features on the device, you have to pay for upgrades, downloads and additional software that we felt should have been standard.
The device is WiFi capable and can surf the Internet, but you have to buy a browser upgrade. Its screen size is unbeatable in this category of MP3 player, a whopping 4.3 inches with 800 x 480 resolution. One of the coolest features about the Archos 605 is the touch screen interface, though it also has more traditional navigation buttons.
The Archos 605 WiFi certainly is an entertainment powerhouse, but its exceptionally high price and the need to pay even more for many additional features makes it one of the bottom choices in our list of flash MP3 players.Archos 605 WiFi Screenshots. Click to Enlarge
