The Asono Mica was designed in Norway with form and function in mind. This music player is incorporated into an unassuming necklace and the ear buds are integrated into the neck cord. This player is a mere inch and half wide, yet offers 512MB of memory, an FM tuner, an equalizer and a voice recorder. It is compatible with MP3, WMA and ASF music formats.
Although the screen is small on this model it is functional and displays all useful information. It has a simple joystick for navigation; however, it does not have a lock function, so if you move around a lot, this may be a problem. This product is intended to be uncomplicated; it offers few advanced features like the ability to display album art or images. Additionally, the headphone jack is not a standard 3.5 mm jack; if you want to use your own headphones you have to purchase an adapter and will lose the necklace function.
Overall, the Mica is an efficient, practical player that is also fashionable and moderately priced.
